Ringworm or Ringworms are common forms of Fungal infection appears on the surface of the skin. People think it is a worm inside the skin which is not.
Fungus producs round itchy spot on the skin. ussually it look like a red spot.
Ringworm may appear in people of all ages, but most affected with ringworms are children and it can be contagiuos meaning it can passed from one person to another by skin contact or by sharing personal items and clothing.
Locker room in the gym are the areas where ringworm can pass to other persons. Animals can be affected by ringworm as well.
